Setting Up Label Size For Your Thermal Printer

Label Resizer offers a wide range of size selections for your label generation needs. You can fully customize your label size or choose from predefined sizes. For your convenience, they are organized into three categories.

  • Thermal Label: 16 commonly used product label sizes and 5 shipping label sizes are predefined. You can also create fully custom sizes using width and height fields - supports both metric and imperial units.
  • Paper/Sticker Label: 12 product label sizes and 9 shipping label sizes. A layout preview and industry-standard Avery code are shown for each selection.
  • Up Thermal Label: 2-Up and 3-Up with and without gap. Same predefined sizes as Thermal Label apply, with a custom size option and layout preview.

You can also select the label size based on DYMO label SKU numbers.


Step by Step Guide

Thermal Label

    After logging in, click Product from the left menu then select Product Label Settings to adjust product label size. For shipping label size click Shipping then Shipping Label Settings.

    Select Thermal Label from the Label Type dropdown. Choose metric or imperial units, then pick a predefined size. If your size is not listed, select Other and enter custom width and height. Click Save.

    To select size by DYMO SKU number, click Help me to Select Size. In the popup choose the DYMO SKU number then click Select.

Paper / Sticker Label

    Navigate to Product Label Settings or Shipping Label Settings as described above.

    Select Paper/Sticker Label from the Label Type dropdown. Choose a sheet label size - Avery codes and layout previews are shown. Click Save.

Up Thermal Label

    Navigate to Product Label Settings or Shipping Label Settings as described above.

    Select Up Thermal Label from the Label Type dropdown. Choose metric or imperial, then select a predefined size. Use Other for a custom size.

    Set the Up Thermal Label type from the dropdown - choose 2-Up or 3-Up with or without gap. Click Save.
